ONE LAP: Down Morrone - Braemar, Scotland 6

Ahhhhh, Scotland! Join Brandon Turman and a host of other riders for a run down Morrone aboard the 2014 Santa Cruz Tallboy 2.

This 1,700-foot descent has it all, from high alpine rock fields to fast, grassy flow near the bottom. To access the ride, you'll have to climb from the nearby town of Braemar up a relentless, winding fire-road. Awesome views of the Cairngorms and Lochnagar await you at the top.

    That looks like such a fun time. How long does the climb take? I'm guessing with 1,700 of vert, you've got quite the windy and long or short and brutal road to climb up.

    It was a hoot!

    Our crew took about 40 minutes to an hour on the climb with a regroup about 3/4 of the way up. Average grade was 11.2% with a few steep pitches thrown in for good measure.

    Oh that's not long at all, good deal! Although I'm not sure what "few" and "steep" mean to you, haha. Sounds like a solid ride with the buds!
