BIG ROCKS & BACKFLIPS! Vital RAW, Snowshoe World Cup Downhill 15

We don't often see backflips at a World Cup. Nathan Rennie did one on the Dual course in Durango in 2003, but since then, has it happened? Regardless, when World Cup downhill racers like Kaos Seagrave and Brendan Fairclough are doing backflips in practice followed by pin-balling off a million rocks and roots, you know it's a good course! Enjoy the Vital RAW from West Virginia!

totally agreed.. not to offend the builders. but some of those features seem dangerously short for WC racers.

they're back flipping the first jump and jumping off the side to avoid the lip... they are going to flat on the hip jump in the woods without even trying. like i said.. "some" of the features seem short.

I find it interesting that theThe Denim Destroyer made it across the pond as a privateer. i mean, his broken frame was replaced pretty quickly between races earlier in th e season, and Wyn's thousand Euros don't last forever. i say that he's riding for Commencal next year and they paid for his flight and whatnot for this stop. Copy and paste That to Racing Roumours.

The world cup circuit is a very cohesive bunch, and while team riders are always priority, it's not uncommon for mechanics/team staff to help out privateers, whether by giving away parts or helping out with tinkering on the rig. Everyone is passionate about racing, so when a privateer is killing it all season you'll see a lot of people helping out where they can to keep him in between the tape.

Eh, he has a job. He runs a restaurant. He has a way to take time off. He loves racing. Guys do crazier shit with less money and support. I buy it! EDIT, smart of him to sit this out with a concussion. Love the common sense. Wish I had some of that way back in the day wink
