MTB H has been riding for a little more than a year. Recently, we happened to stumble across some of the POV videos from Southeast area trails that he posted. We were so stoked on what he's doing that we asked him to partner up and create two POV vids from the Southeast each month for Vital MTB. This one kicks it off!
Fun, fast, natural terrain with some gaps thrown in for good measure! Check out the Avery Creek trail with MTB H as he pushes himself to new heights!

There's only about 700,000 YouTube videos of Pisgah online now thanks to all the bro code whores.
The one dude has whored this place out so hard, he's bought and sold houses from it.

It used to be thin ribbons of singletrack, very rooty, lots of hike a bike and really weaving through thickets of laurels & dense vegetation with black dirt & rock.
But less than 10 years ago, IMBA board member from here sold Pisgah brass on sustainable trails using machines, rolling grade dips and tourism dollars (even though the lots were packed and overrun with tourists). They've since had most every single trail re-routed, hit everything with backhoes and trail dozers, led constant crews of do gooders with promise of free beer and bro hugs on weekly ventures to "maintain" the trails with rogue hoes & chainsaws. The really big thing that got sold was "safety" meaning corridors wide enoughfor fat lazy EMTs to roll in and quickly extract people using side by sides.
All the while they claim this is "better" because "it all used to be logging roads and railroad grades"
