very nice i like, when it says drop out hardware for SS or Gears does that mean 2 kits that are supplied or do we choose one? when does 2011 stuff come out i forget?

Love all the 2011 stuff but what about all the kids that just paid for there 2010 bikes. I get why they do this but the season just started. Other than that.. Vital rules keep up the good work.

measured, people were complaining that the bb was too low in previous years and i would have to agree. this years bike feels much better

You guys measured it out at 12.25 or is that what they're publishing? Not sure how a higher bottom bracket makes a bike 'faster' .......or more stable since it gives you a higher center of gravity. Manual easier.....sure. I'm just being picky because I might actually get one. It's only a smidgen above the old ones. But that's seriously the best looking hardtail specialized has ever made. Stoked to see one in person. The $500 frameset and bits is a great idea.

actually the bottom bracket is barely higher and it makes the bike alot faster and more stable

Why on earth did they raise the bottom bracket? Those old bikes were so nice and stable in big jumps. What travel are those forks set up at? Frame looks sick though. I like the layout.

tarka the offset only affects the wheel dish. if you were to put a after market wheel on the old frame it would hit the frame unless you dished it, now it is straightened out so it lines up better with single speed and non oem wheels

" They removed the 6mm offset from the rear end to better accomodate aftermarket SS rear hubs."

... so is the spacing 131mm or is the rear wheel not centered assuming standard dish? so do you have to re-dish the rear wheel? I'm assuming that the spacing is still 135, so what exactly are they refering to? ...And only one top tube length, no other sizes? hmmmm..... sucks to be tall.
