15,000 Feet of Descending in a Day! 2019 Enduro World Series Course Previews, Zermatt, Switzerland 6

In the shadow of the Matterhorn, Zermatt locals don't find it funny when asked, "is that the Eiger?" Sven Martin delivers the course preview POV goods from the last round of the 2019 Enduro World Series race. The one-day EWS race features 5 grueling stages with 18km of total timed racing and 2800 meters of vertical drop (over 9,000 feet). What's more impressive with the alpine terrain is the descending during the transfer stages, too! Those drops add up to another 1800 meters of downhill (almost 6,000 feet)! It's going to be a brutal race for both bike and body. If Sven survived, we figure the fastest enduro mountain bike racers should be good, too.
