Guerrilla Gravity Megatrail (2014) Frame
The Good

Dialed geometry, amazing suspension performance, efficient pedaling, wheel size choice, priced competitively and backed by an awesome company who hand makes them in the USA.

The Bad

On the heavier end of the spectrum when compared to some of the carbon bikes on the market.

Overall Review
When I caught my first glimpse of Guerrilla Gravity's new Megatrail, its unique styling and the fact that it was hand built in the USA caught my attention. When all the details were released I knew that this bike would be right up my alley. By coincidence I happened to break my old frame days after the original glowing review from Vitalmtb was released and I knew I had to have it. I immediately put down a deposit on a frame and was contacted by Will, one of the co-owners thanking me for my purchase and offering any help along the way. The crew at Guerrilla Gravity went above and beyond to get...

Guerrilla Gravity Megatrail (2014) Frame
Vital Review
Overall Review
by Dave Trumpore We recently had a chance to visit the folks at Guerrilla Gravity in Denver, Colorado for a tour of the shop and to take a look at their newest trail bike project, the Megatrail. In a day and age where most manufacturing, welding, and assembly happens far overseas, it was quite refreshing to see the inner workings of a more homegrown operation right here in our backyard. Guerrilla Gravity truly keeps it local by doing all of the work in house. The only exception being the CNC bits that are contracted out, but even those are produced just down the road. While I toured the shop...

2014 Santa Cruz 5010 Carbon XX1 AM ENVE
Vital Review
Overall Review
Reviewed by Brandon Turman and Steve Wentz // Photos by Shawn Spomer and Lear Miller The 125mm travel Santa Cruz Solo - excuse us, Santa Cruz “5010” - enters the 2014 lineup as a smaller brother to the Bronson. Compared to the well-regarded Blur TRc, at first glance you’re sure to notice the new wheel size, but there’s much more to the story. The bike sees updates to the geometry, suspension tweaks, feature updates and more. As one of the most memorable videos of 2013 showed, the bike was designed to take to cover some serious ground on your adventures, but also to be a capable rig that’s at...

2014 Evil Uprising
The Good

+ Delta link is amazing.. + climbs like a 3-4 inch XC bike.. + descends like a DH bike.. + light + fast + nimble + rock garden destroyer.. + makes traill riding fun again..

The Bad

+ no colours available + would like a longer top tube, I'm 5.10 and have medium, need another 1-2 inches on TT

Overall Review
This is hands down one of the best trail bikes I've ridden, climbs like a 3- 4 inch bike.. rapid..Poppy, insanely fast ,nimble, very flickable, confidence inspiring. Can destroy even the most technical of rock gardens, Really fun trail bike, has me riding faster and clearing sections I didn't think possible ... I would highly recommend riding one of these before you buy any new carbon trial bike.. 26 inch wheels and all ....properly good..

Reviewed by John Hauer and Jess Pedersen // Photos by Lear Miller Shrouded in mystery since the beginning, the Evil Uprising is now available to the public. It’s about time, too! We’ve been eager to try one out since we first saw Filip Polc on a prototype back in 2012. Our chance finally came during the 2014 Vital MTB Test Sessions. With looks that could kill, the full carbon frameset features 150mm of travel, 26-inch wheels (gasp!), adjustable geometry and the unique DELTA suspension system. Uprising Highlights High-pressure molded unidirectional carbon frame 26-inch wheels 150mm (5.9-inches)...
