SUNringlé

  • The Good:

Light, Tubeless Ready, Strong AF, Stiff, Compatible w/ Varying Axle Sizes, Price is right

    The Bad:

No Color Options, Angry Bees Hub

Overall Review: For the money these wheels can't be beat. I was looking for a good freeride / downhill wheelset when building my Intense Uzzi and all my research kept bringing me back to these.  The price was right, never had any issues running trails or downhill, I would get these again.

  • The Good:

Great on the trail, great on rock gardens, great on everything you can throw at them, great at the gravity park, price is right, low maintenance. comes with adapters for diff axle sizes, tubeless ready.

    The Bad:

    They are a bit loud

Overall Review: I purchased these, this is my second time purchasing, I have owned both the 26" and 27.5" versions. I bought these for a new build based off others reviews I found online.  I felt that for the price they were the best bang for the buck.  I have put these things through the ringer and t...

  • Review by Cory Tepper // Photos by Emily Peterson and Cory Tepper At a time in the industry where companies are literally trying to re-invent the wheel, I was pleasantly surprised to pull Sun Ringle’s DJsingle wheels out of the box. Intended for the dirt jump/park/street riding crowd, they fea...

  • by Steve Wentz You have probably all heard this before, and you will keep hearing it. Great wheels are like magic for your bike. They can make you accelerate better, hold a tough line and they will hopefully also last for a good long while. When the Charger Pro SL wheels from Sun Ringle showed...

  • The Good:

    Convert to tubeless easily
    Fairly light
    Low price point
Deep sidewalls keep tubeless tires on and don't burp off the rim

    The Bad:

Hard to get tires on and off (dual ply) because of the deep sidewalls

Overall Review: These originally came on one of my bikes and I immediately converted them to tubeless with stans tubeless strips. I seated a dual ply 3C non-tubeless tire first try and didn't need to add anymore stans in the tire for a year. The deep rim walls are great at keeping the tire from burping off of t...

  • The Good:

They are very strong especially for their light weight which is rolling weight and what every rider wants to reduce. I definitely put these wheels through their pace in Angel fire and actually cracked through one rim yet it didnt pinch my tube nor did it explode

    The Bad:

Spokes need to be kept taught at all times especially for bigger riders otherwise the wheels will lose true easily but ths is the case with most wheels.

Overall Review: overall I think sun has done a great job on these wheels in having a good balance between strength and weight and offering something so good at an affordable price
