2012 Mongoose Boot'r Comp Bike
The Good

comfortable ride, looks pretty good, smooth gear shifting, great tyres

The Bad

the fork and rear suspension makes undesirable sounds, heavy, rear suspension rebound adjust feels dodgy when adjusting.

Overall Review
OVERALL, an OKAY bike, but if you had $2.5K buy another bike with less cons

2012 Mongoose Fireball 26" Bike
The Good

Chain guide, tires, frame geometry

The Bad

seat, brakes

Overall Review
I bought this because it's my third bike and I ride in two countries and needed one to use for about a month each year. The good: MRP chain guide works pretty flawlessly Kenda K-rads are great tires Frame geometry is great but chainstays could be shorter The OK: SRAM rear derailleur OK, but better if short cage Crank works fine, square taper is reliable Fork is bouncy and fun but has no adjust and bottoms and tops out really easily Wheels are heavy and don't have sealed bearings, but are reliable 710mm steel bar and short stem The Bad: Tektro brakes overheat on the slightest hill Seat rails...

Mongoose Nugget
The Good

solid, fun, great in the air

The Bad

pivots get loose after heavy riding

Dirt jumping/slopestyle is not my forte but as soon as I got on this bike I felt a lot more confident and comfortable on the jumps. My nugget was built up fairly heavy but even with the weight under me the bike felt snappy in the air and accelerated in the corners. 2012 Mongoose Switchback Expert Bike
The Good

Lightweight and very strong, will take alot of punishment and deal with it no problem. Grippy wide tyres makes speed riding through dirty tracks and slippery surfaces easy. Fantastic brakes mean you have complete control downhill.

The Bad

The crank and pedals are of a poor quality so i would reccomend getting those replaced. quick release mechanism on front and back tyres are a theives dream so i would have those removed.

Overall Review
I have had this for 3 weeks now and its a fantastic bike. I did spend an extra £100 on a steel crank and pedals but that was personal preferance. I would reccomend this to anyone.
