Lapierre

  • The Good:

    - very good rear suspension
    - riding characteristics
    - good base for tuning if you can get it cheap
    - 1° angle set is included

    The Bad:

    - steering stop limiter is missing on the headset, as the shift lever can hit in the top tube
    - RS Yari RC
    - heavy wheels and handlebar
    - strange grips

Overall Review: I ride the Spicy 527 2017 since August 2017. The geometry suits me very well. At 1.89 m height, I chose L. If you want to race with them and do not value fun on any occasion, you can take the size recommended by Lapierre, which in my case would have been XL. As the seat position would be a bit t...

  • The Good:

    Suspension

    The Bad:

    Color combination

Overall Review: Done several trails and the performance is really great compared to other fullsus bikes I have tried. Good job to Lapierre team.

  • The Good:

Good control. Fork travel is adequate for most terrain. Shock gives you comfortable feeling all the time. Rear wheel is stable when doing descent and turning.

    The Bad:

Sprocket is weak, it broke at the first off-road ride. The running of brake hoses and shifting wires are tricky at the rear.

Overall Review: Not a light weight bike but can get used to it very soon. A really all-round bike which can handle most of the terrains.

  • The Good:

The good news is that nobody in brooklyn ever going to show up at the trails with this ugly bike.

    The Bad:

    Worst looking stock hardtail ever!

Overall Review: Probably a great bike but that oreo setup going to get old real quick.
