Kenda Karma Tire
The Good
Great in all terrain
The Bad
small amount of rolling resistance
Overall Review
I run Karma's front and back. I like a little more grip and I have no slips with them. They grip and corner perfect. They are an impressive all around XC tire. I never have to changes tires for new terrain. They make riding easy ;)

Overall Review
If you’ve been riding bikes for over a two decades or ask your seasoned shop guy (you know, the only mechanic who can setup cantilever brakes within a reasonable amount of time) which fork changed suspension as we know it, one product will come to mind: Z1. Well before the year 2000 and the frantic Y2K computer-crash scare, mountain bike forks consisted of slim tubes containing rubber-like chunks of plastic known as elastomers. Riding with dampers at the time was like playing a spontaneous game

The Good
Great traction in all sorts of conditions. Grips well, corners well.
The Bad
Adds a little bit of rolling resistance.
Overall Review
Front and rear is a decent option if you need grip. Definitely a great front tire for hooking up to a variety of terrain -- both soft and hard pack. These corner well and are a great all around go-to tire.

The Good
Versatile tire, long lasting, fast rolling compound
The Bad
Doesn't come in 27.5"
Overall Review
This tire is soooo good! I have used it consistently over the last season. It especially works well on my loose hometown trails in Idyllwild, CA but I have also used it all over the country for racing. I like the high profile side knobs as well as the fact that they are "race weight" yet still durable. Also, as an added bonus, they have a really long lifespan!

Perfect for DH
The Good
Grippy, relatively fast-rolling, consistent, sheds dirt easily
The Bad
Can't wait for the folding version!
Overall Review
The Hellkats are an amazing DH option: Fast, consistent grip; eats up loose or wet conditions and sheds dirt efficiently and easily, easy to mount tubeless with our without a compressor. Can't wait for a lighter folding trail version to come out- they'll be here soon.

The Good
Super compliant rubber and awesome tread pattern
The Bad
Nothing in my book
Overall Review
The rubber is really sticky and great for wet/muddy conditions. Best part is it doesn't wear out after one ride. Tread pattern is great for gripping wet roots and rocks and digging into muddy terrain. Two thumbs up!

The Good
Soft, sticky knobs which grip great in the wet and loose
The Bad
Honey Badger is jealous
Overall Review
HellKat's are a soft compound tire with large side knobs, and great braking abilities. Lots of traction in the corners and steeps. Perfect rubber if you ride wet or loose trails on the reg! The wire bead set up tubeless is my go-to on DH and trail bikes

FOX 36 FLOAT GRIP2 Factory 2019 Fork
Overall Review
FOX’s heavy-hitting single-crown fork has gone from strength to strength over the past couple of years. Improvements in damping and sensitivity saw it claw back ground it had lost during a few darker years, to the point where it is now back to being regularly cited as one of the top performing forks in its category, including by this very website. That is of course no reason to stop trying to improve, so when FOX sent over a 2019 sample equipped with a brand new damper design, we were eager to

The Good
Fast-rolling, lightweight, plenty of grip in all terrain except for mud. Slick enough to slide when you want but still grips in the corners with the side lugs.
The Bad
Can wear faster than others. No real traction in mud.
Overall Review
Great all around rear tire for fast rides and different terrain. Sidewall is tough enough for lots of edgy gnar but still light enough to be nimble and fast. I’ve ran 10 different combinations on my current rig and keep coming back to this tire and the Maxxis Aggressor. Nothing else compares to these two for fast rear tires. The slaughter let’s you drift easier though.
