NS Direct Mount Stem

I bought this stem based purely on the price when I needed a new one for my DH rig. But when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the feel of quality in the hand which surpassed a pricier item that it replaced. 

Upon fitting the stem I was again pleased by the larger bolts and the fact the upper half of the stem surrounds more than 180° of the bar meaning the bar has to be slid in much like the Renthal stems. This may make fitting some bars tricky and care must be taken not to mark your new kit while fitting it but once done should deliver a very secure and strong interface. Indeed the bar seems well clamped with only a minimal amount of torque on the bolts. 

When doing the bolts up you get that reassuringly solid feel similar to BMX stems where the bolts firm up quickly without flexing anything unduly. 

A proper stem at a proper price point. Look no further.
