There is a reason a lot of bike mechanics use this on their personal bikes or even use it for customer bikes, it works awesome! If you live in a place where the riding is dry and dusty most of the time (like here in Colorado where I live) it does a good job not attracting dust and sand and it keeps the chain nice and quiet. Like any chain lube, you do have to reapply and wipe off some grit and grime on a fairly regular basis, but I have noticed my chain tends to be cleaner than it did with other brands lubes. I do apply new lube about every 1-3 rides, but you could get away with using it less most likely, depending on the conditions.
The lube does not work quite as well in the mud or in very wet gritty conditions as the lube will come off giving you a noisy and dirty chain, but wiping off the dirt and reapplying the lube will get you back on track quickly. If you are looking for a better wet weather lube, Rock and Roll Extreme does a better job of handling wet conditions, but does not excel in the dry. Basically Rock and Roll designed the perfect product for dry conditions and another product perfect for wet conditions. I think this is way better than creating a mediocre product that works OK in varying conditions like other brands do. Definitely an awesome product for where I ride and something I recommend to others riding in dryer conditions. Price may seem high, but your chain will thank you.
"SPECTACULAR" that's what my star rating says anyway... And does it lie? No it does not! Why does the label say "Gold" on it? because this lube is the gold standard in dry conditions. While the blue stuff has tons of wax in it meant to protect the chain this stuff has just enough to keep the chain lubed, and quite while not attracting too much dust making your bike a mucky mess. This stuff is the bee's knees, if you love your bike... maybe a little too much?.. aahhhh who am I kidding there's no such thing! but if you do this stuff is a necessity.. trust me it will keep you and your bike very happy on the trail! If the price tag is scaring you, try not to frett you can often pick this stuff up at your LBS for less than $15 a bottle, and it is very worth it!

It is hard to say a lot about a chain lube, but when you find one that works good , you know it! I have been using this lube for several years and it is always my go-to. I have tried others in the past and I am never as happy with them due to reasons such as application or chain cleanliness. The Gold Lube just needs a slight shake before using to mix the ingredients together. Apply it on the chain like any other lube and wipe excess away. It seems to keep my chain very clean even in muddy conditions. It will last through a long day in the rain/mud on the DH bike no problem.
It seems to be a waxed based lube, so if the container or chain is very cold (like freezing type weather), it does not apply very good and the wax builds up a little bit. Not much of a worry since I store my bike inside and do all my bike prep inside as well.
What else is to say? Go buy it and try it for yourself; keep your chain happy.
