The soft comfortable Visco-Elastic Polymer Dough (VPD) piece is covered by a flexible low friction hard shell knee cap that enables sliding on gravel and rocks in DH conditions. The VPD material is soft and adapts to the shape of the body, but when exposed to impact, the material stiffens and has extreme shock absorption properties. Certified EN 1621-1.
