IPX Absorption Cells (ACells) uses a specially engineered polymer foam designed to reduce head injuries caused by rotational impacts during crashing.

IPX ACells are positioned on the EPS (expanded polystyrene) liner on the inside of the helmet in small recesses, between the EPS and the comfort liner.
