2011 model - Excellent Helmet
Rating:
The Good
well built in and out, paint job strong and well done, removable liner and cheek pads are simple to use. quick release chin strap, size it once and forget it and you can engage and disengage the quick release with gloves on.
The Bad
if you have a pretty oval head, the helmet may be a bit loose side to side. but not enough to be a liability in a crash. I only say this because I am used to full face motorcycle racing helmets which fit significantly more snug than a full face mtn bike helmet.
Overall Review:

overall a great helmet, would buy again. only wish helmet description included what type of head this helmet fits. This hlemet seems more designed for a round shaped head not an oval shaped head.

Fits my FAT head great.

Great price, fits my weird head and survived a few heavy hits. Nice ventilation. Removable/Washable pads
The Bad
Nothing to say, it did it's job.
Overall Review:

I am reviewing one from '09. I purchased this based on price and the fact that it fits my head which is BIG and long front to back. Most other XL helmets press on my forehead quite a bit, if they even fit over my head.

I had a couple of big wrecks with this helmet where it took big hits.  I retired it as a precaution, but the shell was still intact, and the foam seemed fine.  I demolished the visor, and had some serious abrasions on the outside, but came away fine, with the chinbar fully intact.

This helmet did everything I could have asked it too, and at a great price.

Great Price

This helmet is a great price for how well good it is. The vents are nice and the washable inside is a plus so it doesn't get smelly.
The Bad
Helmet gets a little hot, but it's a dh helmet, so the wind should cool you off.
Overall Review:

This helmet really gives you bang for your buck.

Don't like how it fits

Good looking helmet, very strong, removable pads.
The Bad
The fits, the large its to big and the medium doesn't even fit.
Overall Review:
great helmet for the price, but if you have weird size head like me it will not work.

Great for aggressive riders

Great protection, light weight, inexpensive. Washable interior, last for ages.
The Bad
Too hot, unless you are specifically using it for FR/DH or very aggressive AM. Cycling uphill in this helmet in warm temperatures will roast your head, but that's true of all helmets like this. Paint chips off, but I like the rugged look anyhow!
Overall Review:
Great helmet, worth the money, just use it for its purpose.

Bang for your buck

This helmet is light enough and will get the job done well while going easy on your wallet. I got mine for $90 and I don't think it was on sale, even though I usually see it on sale at most shops. The click-shut chin strap is also a bonus compared to some of the chin straps on the old TLDs.
The Bad
It's big and round, so it definitely has that notorious silhouette. Also, I hear the visor's break easily. Mine's been fine for a year now, but my buddy has been through 2 and broke both visors prematurely.
Overall Review:
Good helmet, keeps you safe but it definitely isn't the most visually flattering thing to put on your head. But let your riding do the talking like a boss should.

A Great Buy

They have awesome graphics. The fit is perfect and the sizes are spot on. These lids are well know and they work. The whole helmet is luxurious looking and feeling. Great weight too.
The Bad
These helmets have a signature look to them. They are notoriously round and big.
Overall Review:
When i got my helmet i instantly loved it. The product is great. I would reccomend this helmet to anyone. A beginner or and advance rider, even the pros use these lids.
