Fantastic mid-level flat pedal

Fantastic mid-level flat pedal
The Good:

Grippy, Solid, Attractive, Affordable, Reasonable weight, 2 Available sizes

The Bad:

Top-mount pins, a tad thicker than newer/more expensive competitors

Overall Review:

I finally made the switch from clipless to flats and these Stamp 3s have made me a much better rider. I paired these with Shimano's AM7 shoes and the grip is fantastic. Crank Bros offers the Stamp 3 in 2 sizes, small and large, for varying feet sizes, but also terrain considerations. They recommend the large for size 10 and up, but I'm a 10.5 and ride in the Northeast where we have a lot of rocky, rooty tech trails, so I hesitantly went with the smalls for extra clearance on the trails. That paid off, as I rarely have rock strikes (the ones I do have are down to user error) and still feel like I have plenty of room to move around on the pedals. My only major issue with the Stamp 3s is that the pins install and adjust from the top, so I foresee some stripped allen heads and a pair of vice grips in my future.
