Shovel Components Addict Round Race Face Chainring

The Addict Round chainring for Race Face cranks has a 0.5mm offset and is designed for BB30 cranks with no offset. Why 0.5 mm offset? Shovel tested the life cycle of the chainrings, and concluded that a little shift in the offset can result in much better race performance when ascending. While descending the -0.5 offset has no real effect.  The 0.5 offset also improves chainring life, reducing the wear of the the chain, chainring, and the cassette.
