At Crankworx this past weekend, Easton revealed their new Havoc downhill wheelset, which is claimed to be the lightest true DH wheelset on the market at only 1870 grams! The 23mm rims are UST compatible and use 28 straight gauge Sapim spokes in a 3x pattern. They come in 20mm front hub and 12x150/157 rear hub spacing. Riders like Sam Blenkinsop, Cameron Cole and Steve Smith have been putting these wheels through their paces on the World Cup circuit with stellar results. The wheelset retails for $1000 ($555 for rear and $445, front) and can be found through Easton retailers or at eastoncycling.com
