Right on the heels of the new Five Ten Cool Hwip clipless shoe announcement, we just received word that Danny Mac now has a signature edition shoe. They are expected to be available in March 2012.

The shoes feature a rubberized bumper on the heel, extra padding in the ankle and tongue, a reinforced toe box made from thermoplastic polyurethane, and a Stealth rubber sole. Fingers cross that they come with some of Danny's skill, too:

Haha. So what helmet should TLD come up with, jbones? These are Danny's new signature shoes, so I assumed you were talking about TLD coming up with a Danny Mac signature helmet.

Looks like it still has the CA plate. Looks like a "Grey/Black" Freerider just in "Black/blue". It has the same mesh over the toe, instead of the perforated leather. That mesh can blowout from toes or from catching on thick brush or whatever. I guess it keeps your feet better ventilated for low speed open environments when doing "urban trials/freeriding" or whatever you call D-mac's riding style.

please tell me the california license plate on the back has been replaced with a scottish one. that would make me want a pair (despite living in california.)
