I've watched that one at least two dozen times. At this point in my life, big, low-speed drops like that are a deal-breaker. That doesn't mean I can't pick up this guitar and learn the song from the video, though. Thanks, Danny Mac.

At Mammoth one year back in the late 90's or early oo's, I saw some trials riders from South America do drops off of a twelve foot log. One guy totally exploded off the bike and the other barely hung on. Danny does it like dropping off of a curb. As spectacular as every other trick in this vid is, the one that really gets me is the massive side hop tail whip. I used to fancy myself pretty good at the side hop and could probably have done one that big, but with a tail whop thrown in it's just recockulous.

Pretty sure the one video with him riding to the "He's going the distance" song pre dates this one. I remember because it was back when I just started riding (for real) and I was talking to a A. Lutze about Danny's riding level at "street trials" . Back in the Matchvideozine days........, aeons ago.
