Just as in the photo above, being 19 and as one of the only Canadians whom have been introduced to the eastern European racing scene, it has definitely been an eye opener. It is not only the massive mental influence of placing high on the paper for my self and in front of the most beautiful woman who love to cheer on the this newly recognized sport of downhill mountain biking, but also the influence of a much distinctive atmosphere the sport holds on and off the track here on the other side of the puddle from where i'm from, is what keeps this binded passion i hold for the sport alive.
Being visiting Sofia the Capital of Bulgaria as a Canadian, i took every open opportunity I could to attend all downhill races the country had to offer. And now the season is almost drawn near to a close and races a few left and i return back to Canada, i have definitely had my eyes opened to this great opportunity to see first my personal growth in the sport and also experience first hand how small the world really is when mountain biking comes up in a conversation with newly made friends. This is one experience i would have acquired in my life time and will never fail to remember.
