Riders looking for a softer grip may find the answer in Red Monkey's silicone lineup. They're available in 5, 6.5, and 9.5mm thicknesses as well as a lock-on version. Made from silicone sponge, not foam, these dual density grips are said to last a long time while offering some added compliance to tame trail chatter.
Red Monkey recycles their scraps and puts it into their Monkey Goo tire sealant to help clog punctures.
