Aaron Gwin and Troy Brosnan Pinned at Sea Otter Classic - suspended-productions - Mountain Biking Pictures - Vital MTB

Everyone is curious to see what Gwin rides on race day for Sea Otter DH race day. The rest of the team (like Troy Brosnan here) drafts off Gwin. It's a little secret of theirs. Gwin can get tired leading all weekend, then on race day, the rest of the squad is fresh as a daisy.

Funny because Specialized always boasts how their frames are designed around the suspension to get the ultimate performance and control. Then the worlds best rider wants to ride their bike with a different fork and just throws this philosophy out the window. I guess with today's adjustable headsets and variable frame geometry Specialized's dedicated frame design theory is irrelevant.

pretty funny that Gwin can just ride Fox just because he wants to do so, even though Troy is still on RockShox
