Why no discussion of his brake setup? A lot of the top Shimano racers are running Saint calipers with the XTR Race (not Trail) levers.

How long till Shimano actually brands an XTR Enduro group with this brake setup and dedicated 1X with a wider range?

I thought he rode an Aggressor day one.
Griffin is full on DH tire...I guess he wanted to be sure a tire failure didn't cause him to lose the lead he built up.

I read somewhere they moved him to full DH tires for day 2 because his lead was so big. They wanted to minimize the risk of failure.

it says "griffin" on the sidewall, and that tire exists, though I´ve never witnessed one in wildlife

Oh yeah– "Fast-rolling DH tire for hardpack trails" says Maxxis. Thanks! Never seen one myself either.

Any idea what tire Richie is running in the rear? Doesn't seem like Tomahawk or Aggressor... has some interesting diagonal ramp knobs.
