Intro Text

Three races, three wins. Both Martin Maes and Isabeau Courdurier keep their perfect seasons alive in the 2019 Enduro World Series. Round three in Madeira, Portugal, was an island paradise full of dreamy trails, but the challenge was keeping bike and body together for eight stages over two days of racing. The dust is just barely settling, but Sven Martin and @maddogboris deliver the goods from MTB paradise.

Martin Maes won six of the eight stages, including the queen stage for the bonus points. Max points at all three rounds means his overall lead is ginormous. Another race, another win for the Belgian blitzer. -Sven Martin

Some riders throw their goggles or jersey...Jose Borges throws his helmet! Look out below. @maddogboris
Jesse Melamed with the finishline sprint on Stage 6 and a smart ride for a 3rd place this weekend. Yeah Jesse! @maddogboris

Sam's Crash definitely cost him some time. @maddogboris
Stage one was a long one. Flat and physical to start and then steep and dusty to the finish. -Sven Martin

A couple of second places for Miranda Miller shows she has the speed. Now she just needs to find out how to repeat that in more stages. -Sven Martin
