View as: Slideshow | One Page

The morning started out slick, but by qualifying time, the DH track at the UCI World Cup in Cairns, Australia, was primed and ready for racing. Rachel Atherton and Matt Walker rounded out top runs in Women and Junior classes.

10 hours? Stop taking naps and get off the hill.

But seriously, can we have a Martin Whitley history lesson clip in EVERY World Cup please? Young riders can appreciate it as much as us old folks I hope. From what he said, Red Bull is trying to be "The Man" and oppress our podium?

Hope the weather holds. Photos, stories, interviews always on point. Not so sure I agree about the RB broadcast and its new preshow monkey dance. Rather that time went to show more riders on track.
