Marco Osborne is an American enduro destroyer with a penchant for going extremely fast. This season he's been stealthily shredding his Cannondale Jekyll 29 and now the news is official about the big-wheeled beast. We caught up with Marco at the Aspen BME North American Continental Enduro race to see what the bike is all about.

Marco's Jekyll features some new WTB tires; a 2.5 Vigilante (front) and 2.4 Judge (rear). Both have heavy-duty casing and Marco says the tires are in the 1280g range. He will run a CushCore insert in the rear for safety but prefers the feeling of having the tire-only setup. He's 185 pounds and runs 24PSI in his front tire and 29PSI out back.

The Jekyll 29 uses a FOX DPX2 Gemini shock which has a travel adjuster for "hustle" (120mm) or "flow" (150mm) mode. When asked how often he uses the travel-adjust, he said often. If there's a pedally section in a race run, he'll reduce the travel to "hustle" for more efficiency. 85PSI holds up his FOX 36 fork and he doesn't tweak settings in his fork but will adjust rear shock air pressure depending on the pitch of the courses. Steeper courses get a slightly softer spring rate so the bike will be deeper in the travel making it a bit slacker on the trail.

Shimano Saint brakes with 203mm rotors are pure power needed for the rowdy EWS courses and Marco's mindset is to build up the most durable "mini DH bike" he can for the events.

A Wolftooth dropper lever with some grip tape on the controls activate the FOX Transfer post (150mm). He had a 36t Wolftooth chainring on here in Aspen but planned on switching to 34t for the Whistler EWS, where he just finished in a legit 14th place this past weekend.
