Profile showed us their new AC-2 hubs. The made-in-the-USA pieces of wheel-spinning goodness use a patent-pending design with dual angular contact bearings that are preloaded with wave springs. Tapered hub shell bores work with angled bearing cones to keep the hubs slop-free, even after years of use. They're easily maintained requiring only retaining ring pliers to access the guts. A 6-pawl configuration means quick engagement (96 points) or a 3-pawl option with 48 points reduces drag. www.profileracing.com should have all the details soon.
Jake Kinney had the hubs on his slopestyle bike which can be seen below.
