A natural grin that didn't dissipate all day. Brook MacDonald fettled a little more with bike set up for a huge boost in track confidence. -Duncan Philpott

Some idea of scale and height needed to boost the triple in the middle off the track. About seven riders managed to clear it today. Laurie Greenland and George Brannigan (not pictured) in audio. -Sven Martin

Description

Don't let the bike park fool you. The Lenzerheide World Cup DH course is technically challenging in a more ways than one. Sure there are the rock and root sections, but the berms are quite hard-packed and have a lot of loose dirt on top of them, making traction something difficult to find. Today was the first practice session with timed training where Aaron Gwin, Tracey Hannah and Sylvain Cougoureux went quickest. Sven Martin, Duncan Philpott, @maddogboris, Dan Hearn and Lee Trumpore show us the action.
