With his name at the top of the board, everyone was watching Lyle as he popped corks and started to celebrate. Congrats, Kyle Strait and crew, for a job well done. - Trumpore
Strait drops into his winning run on a line that had zero margin for error. It would eventually lead him to the Oakley Icon Sender - the biggest drop he's ever hit. - Trumpore
Regardless of conditions, Strait knew he'd throw those hands back once in the air. - Collins
Strait and his number one fan, Rachel, just moments after his big win. - Turman
Strait won Rampage back in 2004, and now that he's back at the top of the results board, he's become the first rider to win it twice. - Collins
Slim and Griz, the guys that busted their butts to shape Strait's winning line. - Turman
Kelly McGarry is one of the most likable and friendly guys out there, so after stomping a solid run it was no surprise to see him crowned the winner of the People's Choice Award. - Trumpore
Awesome indeed. - Turman
Everyone knew McGarry would start his run out with a flip, but what came next left us all in awe. - Trumpore
As if a 73 foot canyon gap wasn't enough to worry about, this was the run-in McGarry had to negotiate just to get to the approach. His girlfriend Sam knew he could pull it off. - Trumpore
The first time Cam Zink looked over the Oakley Sender he looked back with a smile, knowing exactly what he was going to do. His last time over the Sender he looked back at me as well, although this time he was upside down. - Trumpore
Commitment on another level. - Turman
Last year's winner, Kurt Sorge, weighs in on Zink's big move that landed him Best Trick and 3rd place. - Turman
Stomped it! Both Strait and Zink shared the same line. Griz talks about what could have been. - Turman
The front face of the upper mountain is as steep and gnarly as it gets. Trust us when we say that no photo can really do it justice. You would be amazed watching Zink ride this line in person. - Trumpore
Following a last minute decision to come out and multiple hospital visits for Zink leading up to the event, the sigh of relief to see him make it down safely was a BIG one for his girlfriend Amanda. - Turman
Andreu Lacondeguy charged the gnarly upper mountain and threw huge moto-inspired tricks at the bottom to earn 4th for the day. - Trumpore
Incredible. - Turman
James Doerfling has probably never felt as far from his bike as he did during this moment. The big mountain ripper will get his redemption next year. - Turman
Brandon Semenuk making moves. - Collins
It was a rough day in the office for Semenuk, but we all know he had it in him. - Turman
Brendan Fairclough built himself a properly sketchy approach to his canyon gap and nailed his finals run to take 8th. Just a few inches to the right and he'd have been out of the running. Talk about precision. - Trumpore
Garrett Buehler tamed the steeps and charged to a 9th place finish. - Collins
Straight up Strait talks about the decision to cancel the second run for many. Bummed out and walking down, the riders think about what could have been after high winds shut the event down. - Trumpore
While most spectators couldn't feel the wind from the bottom, from high on the narrow ridge it was gusting hard and changing directions constantly. It would have been truly dangerous for anyone to drop in. - Turman
With just minutes until go time, fans and friends rallied to complete the last feature on Tyler McCaul's line. - Turman
Tyler's drop-in near the start was incredibly exposed. As the first man down the hill and with no practice the morning of, this would be his first time going over the edge. - Trumpore
Hands on or off, Tyler's step down was of epic proportions. - Collins
Wow. Ryan Meyer weighs in on T-Mac's line. - Collins
Cam McCaul had a solid first run, but definitely had room to improve. The big tricks planned for run two were never able to materialize, and he would settle for a bittersweet 7th place. - Trumpore
Even with tacky dirt replaced by classic Rampage dust, Pierre Eduard Ferry had no issues with traction and blazed down on his way to 6th. - Trumpore
PEF sealed the deal with a big spin near the bottom. - Turman

Thomas Genon may be more well known as a park and slope rider, but he has roots in DH and it shows. After failing to qualify at last year's Rampage, he put more time in on his big bike this year and it paid off with a 10th place finish. - Trumpore
Logan Binggeli was on an amazing run. Unfortunately he would take a HUGE slam after landing this flip off the Sender. We're glad to hear that he's already on the mend following an immediate femur surgery. - Trumpore
Wil Black and White. - Collins
Yeah boys! The fans made the experience on site even better, Huck-O-Meters and all. - Turman
Kyle Norbraten with perhaps the biggest 360 drop of the day. - Turman

Even with a crash, Norbs continued to throw down on his first run. - Turman
Paul Basagoitia charging hard into a revised line he saved for finals. - Turman
After a week's worth of digging an amazing line and promise of a double flip, 20 feet is about as far as Antoine Bizet would go. Following a 2nd place finish last year, it's hard not to wonder what could have been. - Trumpore
Graham Agassiz as dumped as could be. - Robinson
With a day of building lost earlier in the week, many riders were still finishing their lines for finals on Sunday morning. Aggy hit this massive drop for the first time in run one having only had a chance to look over the edge prior. - Trumpore
Each year the level of riding goes up a few notches at Rampage. Aggy's massive drop to dumped 360 is just one of many examples. - Trumpore
We love it too. Congrats to all the riders and builders for crushing it this year. - Turman
Behind the scenes... Four dudes crammed into a makeshift office in the back of an RV, whose lack of sleep was replaced with beer, coffee and some very long days in the desert. Stay classy Virgin, Utah. We'll see you again next year! - Trumpore

Description
After weeks of build up, the Pros took to the Utah desert one last time, each of them searching for Rampage gold. Battling time, traction, mental blocks and weather, the riders all put their best foot forward, making the plunge down the massive mountain. From record setting flips to broken curses and first time senders, these are the stories that highlighted the incredible day.
