With the help of Griz and a dedicated team, Maxima Racing Oils is making a big push into the mountain bike scene for 2015. Maxima has a great history in motosports, but they are making MTB specific products rather than rebadging existing formulas. On display they had several oils, lubes, and cleaning supplies. National distributers are onboard, which should make the product widely available soon.
One of the newest items is their Plush suspension fluid. Maxima Plush is an advanced suspension fluid specific for MTB use. How is it specific? Because mountain bike suspension doesn't heat up as much as moto suspension, Maxima said they were able to focus more on their surface-active technology to help eliminate stiction and reduce friction. Plush suspension fluid will be available in a few months.
