CamelBak redesigned the MULE, one of their most iconic hydration packs, and added a new version to the mix called the LUXE. The new LUXE LR 15 is compatible with CamelBak’s Low Rider lumbar reservoir. This puts the weight of the pack lower, thus lowering the rider’s center of gravity (compared to a standard bladder) and increasing stability.
Compression webbing runs from the waist belt through the reservoir compartment and around the reservoir for maximum stability. You can also choose to run the LUXE LR with a traditional vertical bladder. Both will work in this new pack.
Speaking of Low Riders, here are some new colors for Solstice and Skyline packs introduced last year.
