Confession: when I thought Louis Garneau, I didn’t think mountain bike. Shame on me because MTB trail apparel isn’t even a new thing to them. Garneau’s entire mountain bike collection doubled in the last year, and their 2017 women’s MTB lineup has some great looking items.

Three of the new jerseys that were definite stand outs to me were the W’s HT0 2, the W’s J-Bar, and the W’s Sweep Jersey. The HT0 2 Jersey is an extra lightweight short-sleeve with chilling and antimicrobial fabrics that would be great for rides on warmer days. The J-Bar jersey is a ¾ sleeve length option with attractive asymmetric color blocking. The Sweep is a classic short-sleeve. The three color stories - magenta, asphalt, and sapphire - for these jerseys and other 2017 Garneau MTB jerseys match and mix well with many of the 2017 MTB shorts.

The three best looking 2017 Garneau shorts are the W’s Steeple, W’s Connector, and W’s Latitude Shorts. These shorts each include a liner, have front and rear pockets, Velcro adjustable waists, and a DWR treatment. The way the colors are used in these pieces, many can be mixed and matched. For instance, the attention grabbing Sulpher Spring colored short would match any of these jersey color options as many of them use this same color as an accent.
