Orange Strange Long Reach 29er Prototypes - EUROBIKE - 2017 Enduro and Trail Bikes - Mountain Biking Pictures - Vital MTB

Four years ago Orange showed up to Eurobike with a prototype long-travel 29er only to be relatively ignored. Today they're back with the Strange 150 and Strange 135 prototype 29ers, at a time when people are more open to the iea. These bikes feature the brand's tried-and-true single pivot design, but the geometry and details have been modernized. Frames are designed and built in Great Britain, feature long-top-tube geometry, wide pivots, and 12x148 Boost rear hub spacing. What you see here is fresh off the welder's bench and will head for ride testing shortly after the show. If all goes well, Orange is hoping for a January and February production run. The Strange 135 features a 66.5-degree head angle, 335mm BB height, 445mm chainstays, and lengthy reach measurements in the medium to XL sizes. The Strange 150 has a 66.5-degree HA, 450mm chainstays, 335mm BB height, and comes in medium to XL as well.
