SixSixOne is working on an entry-level version of their EVO AM helmet, called the EVO Patrol. While still sharing many of the key features, including the BOA retention system, shape, fit and shell of the EVO Patrol, the new EVO Patrol helmet will be offered for $109 for the standard version, or $139 with the inclusion of MIPS.

So where does the cash savings happen? The EVO Patrol uses standard EPS foam as opposed to Contego EPS Foam found in the EVO AM, as well as standard moisture-wicking liner in place of the anti-microbial fabric. The EVO Patrol also utilizes a traditional buckle as opposed to the magnetic Fidlock closure system. The new helmet will be available this September.
