In their quest to make the best pedals possible at the best price, Spank has moved much of the pedal operation in house. Doing so drops some of the cost while allowing them to halve tolerances. They claim that the concentricity of pedal body and components is now at an aeronautic level, which should keep them spinning really well for a long time. One pedal that benefits from all of this is the Spoon series, which comes in three sizes at $94.99 US.

Have a massive foot over size 11 US? Grab yourself a pair of Spoon 110 pedals. Something normal? The Spoon 100. Tiny feet less than a size 6? Get the Spoon 90. Spank used sole sizing standards to determine how big to make their platforms.

They rotate on an inner IGUS bushing and a sealed bearing on the outside edge.

There are 10 replaceable pins per side. The extruded pedals are concave, too, and measure 14mm front/back and 12mm in the middle.

Thanks to the move in house, Spank's cold forged Oozy and Spike pedals will drop $20 to $129 and $10 to $119, respectively.
