POC Tectal Race Helmet - 2016 Mountain Bike Apparel & Protection at Eurobike - Mountain Biking Pictures - Vital MTB

POC has a new mountain bike helmet called the Tectal Race. Like the name, it's a combination of the Trabec and Octal. The MIPS-equipped helmet features unibody construction, several vents optimized for airflow and protection, built-in aramid bridges, a goggle clip at the rear of the helmet, and a camera/headlamp mount system. The pads use a Polygene anti-oder treatment to help keep things from getting stinky.

POC is offering the helmet with the Recco Advanced Rescue System integrated into the helmet if you are interested. The Recco system uses a reflector technology that enables search and rescue professionals to locate you using Recco detectors. Recco detectors are currently uses by various regions of the world and are growing in popularity.
