Seven Protection Tactic Knee Pad - 2014 Mountain Bike Apparel & Protection at Eurobike 2013 - Mountain Biking Pictures - Vital MTB

If you've kept a close eye on Steve Peat and Trek World Racing this World Cup season, you likely saw them sporting some new knee pads. Those pads were early prototypes from a new company called Seven Intelligent Design Protection, or 7iDP for short, which is closely tied to Royal Racing. Today Seven officially launched as a company, and they're bringing some really cool stuff to the table.

Shown here is the Tactic Knee Pad, a top-of-the-line offering that provides greater than the CE EN 1621 standard of protection. From their own custom neoprene to an internal floating knee socket to mimic the movements of your knee cap, they've sweated all the small details and will soon go to production.
