Welcome to another edition of Pit Bits from Sea Otter 2013. Neko Mulally raced this Trek prototype in the Sea Otter Dual Slalom, but he was so quick hardly anyone noticed. Details were sparse, but in chatting with Monk Dawg we did learn that it was originally designed for the race crowd. It has a snug rear end, good looking geometry, and a super low standover height, which make us think it'd be a blast to ride. The frame is aluminum throughout. Will it be produced? Only time will tell, but it's reassuring to see Trek World Racing on it as well as the slope guys.
