Steve Peat wins his 17th World Cup Downhill - 2009 UCI World Cup Andorra - Day 4 - Mountain Biking Pictures - Vital MTB

Steve Peat, not just the people's champ anymore. He is the rider's champ, the media champ and now also holds the record for the most World Cup wins for any male downhiller with 17. The record came just one week after equaling Nico's record in La Bresse. He admitted to not having a perfect run and he didn't think it would hold up. Who would have thought last year that Peaty would be over 100 points ahead in the overall after the first three rounds with his favorite tracks, like Mt St Anne and Ft Bill, still to come. Well done Dr. Peat!
