Meet Kona’s new Remote 160 DL and Remote X. We took all the good traits of the newly released Process, juiced it up with an 85nm Shimano EP8 motor and a long-running 612wh battery, and came up with two new bikes.
The Remote 160 DL has 160mm travel at each end and to all intents and purposes is just like the Process you know and love, but now you’ve got the legs of an Olympic track sprinter working for you, All The Time.
The Remote X, well, it’s more. 180mm travel at each end, and it could be the most lovable big mountain crusher you have ever met, or it could be a cracking open a door to a life of ragged excess that will ultimately lead to all the things your parents warned you about. At the very least, it’s gonna be hard to justify buying lift tickets or lifted diesel brodozers when you can just pedal easily up to where the fun starts.
Leave the tailgate pads and the crowded lift lines behind. Grab some friends, start pedaling, and get yourselves somewhere Remote.
