Cycle Monkey is collaborating with Cane Creek Cycling Components on two new build packages for the Zerode Taniwha. These new coil-only options celebrate the release of Cane Creek’s Helm Coil fork and DBCoil IL rear shock.

Cycle Monkey is the exclusive distributor for Zerode bikes in the US and offers the gearbox-equipped Taniwha enduro bike as a frame kit as well as complete bike builds. While Cycle Monkey has already offered their Signature build with a Helm Air fork and DBAir IL rear shock, the new Cane Creek build options will include options for coil or air suspension and include Industry Nine wheels, a local favorite of the Cane Creek crew. The builds will be rounded out with brakes from Magura, bars and stems from Syntace, and saddles from SQ Lab.

Pricing on the new offerings will be $6000 for frame module (frame/fork/drivetrain), $8500 for a Performance build with aluminum kit, and $10,000 for a Signature build with carbon kit. Available sizes are M, L, and XL and available colors are matte black with grey decals, bright blue with grey decals, and grey with bright yellow decals.“

We have been running the Cane Creek Helm Air fork and DBAir IL rear shocks on our demo bikes all season and have been very impressed with both the durability and performance they offer as well as their highly tunable ride quality,” said Neil Flock, president of Cycle Monkey. “For the segment of riders that push the boundaries of suspension performance and traction every chance they get, the coil shocks turn the dial up another notch!

“At Cane Creek, we develop suspension products to perform at the highest levels. Our Double Barrel shocks have long been regarded as the premier option for DH and enduro bikes and our Helm fork launched early this year set the stage for a new level of fork performance. The HELM Coil continues that tradition and provides another premium option for riders who prefer the ride qualities of a coil fork. The Zerode Taniwha is a great platform for showcasing our suspension. The reduced unsprung mass of this gearbox bike sets a new standard for suspension performance and combined with our suspension creates an unstoppable enduro machine!” Sam Anderson, Cane Creek product manager.
