Fat Tire was born on a bike—a Specialized StumpJumper, to be precise. Thirty years ago, an electrical engineer and passionate homebrewer flew to Belgium with a first generation Stumpy, a backpack and a notebook. Immersing himself in Belgian brewing culture, he arrived back in Fort Collins, Colo. inspired to brew what would become one of the most iconic beers in the US. Today, Fat Tire is America’s first certified carbon neutral beer.
In celebration of three decades using business as a force for good, Fat Tire has teamed up with Specialized Bicycles, The Free Radicals, and Fort Collins’ leading cycling advocacy and trail restoration organization, Overland Mountain Bike Association to give away a one-of-kind 2021 S-Works StumpJumper. This custom bike is painted by Tony Bauman (@maderadbytony), and outfitted in fine detail by legendary Fort Collins bike shop Brave New Wheel. All proceeds from entries will be donated directly to fund trail restoration efforts in the aftermath of the 2020 Cameron Peak fire, one of the largest and most devastating wildfires in Colorado history.
Join us in supporting Overland Mountain Bike Association’s mission to bring these trails back to life, and enter for a chance to win this positively radical human-powered fun machine.
