Press Release

Snow Summit Bike Park to Open for Mountain Biking June 12 1

Get the full rundown on park protocol and safety measures that will be in place.

It's almost time to start pulling laps at Snow Summit! A few things will definitely change (more on that below), but a lot won't. As is the case every spring, the park crew has been hard at work over the last several weeks getting the trails ready. To get a full list of the operational changes for this summer in the Bike Park head HERE. Key changes are highlighted below for convenience.

Chairlift capacity will be limited to two guests per carrier with guests responsible for loading their own bikes onto the chairlifts.

Bike Park lift tickets and season passes may be purchased online, by email, or by calling 844.GO2.BEAR. We strongly advise purchasing lift products and filling out the liability waiver in advance to avoid unnecessary time spent in the base area.

Guests should wear a face mask and follow social distancing guidelines which means keeping six feet apart.

Line maze configurations will help guests to maintain proper social distancing while in line for the lift.

Demos/ Rentals will be available, with full sterilization in line with CDC guidelines between users.

Lessons (both individual and group) will be available, with the experience slightly altered to account for proper social distancing.

Several of the beginner/ base area trails will NOT open on June 12 (and likely not this summer):

  • Average Joes
  • Globogym
  • Pump Track
  • Mulchpit
