POC is psyched to announce the signing of veteran mountain biker, Ross Schnell, to its global athlete team.

Schnell joins a POC Wheels roster which already includes freeride pioneer Andrew Shandro, European DH Champion Robin Wallner, Scottish trial and street rider Danny MacAskill, X-Games BMX Champion Daniel Dhers and street and slopestyle mountain bike sensation Martin Söderström.

“I'm absolutely thrilled to come on board with POC Sports,” comments Schnell.  “I've been a huge fan of the product since I started using POC body armor several years ago.  The unmistakable style and protection across the board is what makes POC so great.  To become more involved on the marketing as well as development side of things really completes my arsenal on and off the bike.”

“Ross Schnell is an all-around great rider and ambassador to the sport of mountain biking,” says POC USA Director of Marketing and Promotions Willie Ford. “You add him into any line-up, at any race and he competes for the top stop every time. His industry experience and input on product development will be a valuable tool for us to further our impact in all bike categories.”

Schnell’s MTB achievements include: All-Mountain World Champion, Singlespeed World Champion, Super D National Championship Series Overall Champ, National Short Track Race Winner, Collegiate National Champion Cross Country, Collegiate National Champion Dual Slalom, Colorado State Champion Cross Country, 7x BMX State Champion, Stage wins at French Enduro Race 2010, Member US National Team, Trestle All-Mountain Enduro 2011 Champion.
