Giant's All-New Trance X 29 7

Longer travel, relaxed geometry, and price points that won't make you wince. The new Trance X 29 looks ready to rip!

Building on the proven all-rounder capabilities of the shorter- travel Trance 29, we added more suspension travel front and rear. We then dialed in the frame geometry to make the new Trance X 29 a perfect choice for anyone who loves to ride chunky rock gardens, aggressive descents and technical climbs. Uphill or downhill, this plush 29er delivers stability, speed, and incredible control.

The heart of the new Trance X 29 is its super strong and lightweight ALUXX SL aluminum frameset. The chassis is engineered with the stiffness you need to rail corners, accelerate up to speed, and blast steep climbs. This ultra-efficient frameset is balanced out with our latest Maestro suspension system that gives you 135mm of smooth, active rear travel. Thatโ€™s an additional 20mm over the Trance 29 range, which makes it perfect for those who like their singletrack spicy. The rear suspension is paired with a 150mm fork, producing a balanced feel that soaks up the terrain and keeps you rolling along with smooth control.

One of the breakthrough innovations on the Trance X 29 range is our all-new adjustable frame geometry feature. A flip chip on the Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm of the Maestro suspension system lets you choose a steeper or slacker head and seattube angle depending on your riding style and terrain. You can change the head angle from 66.2 degrees to 65.5 degrees. The seattube angle adjusts from 77.9 degrees to 77.2 degrees. Switching the geometry also changes the bottom bracket drop from 30mm to 40mm.
