Giant Factory Off-Road Team rider Eliot Jackson has a special connection to the Sapwi Bike Park - it's essentially being built in his backyard just down the road from where he grew up in Thousand Oaks, California. As a youth in the area, Eliot and other local riders struggled to find quality spots to ride. They often resorted to building their own jump trails in places where they may or may not have had permission to do so. This was great for reaping the rewards of hard work, but often ended in the spot being destroyed by the land owner or authorities. One of the main goals for Sapwi Bike Park is to provide a quality, sustainable, and legal place for riders of all skill levels to enjoy. Help us make it a reality while also getting a chance to win a replica of Eliot's team bike!
All proceeds will go toward completing the Sapwi Bike Park located in Thousand Oaks, California. The Sapwi Bike Park project is a partnership between the Concerned Off-Road Bicyclists Association (CORBA) and Conejo Recreation and Parks District (CRPD). The park is a free, public recreational bicycle skills park facility designed for cycling enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.
Phase one of the bike park, a pump track, is now complete and open to the public for riding. Additional funding is needed for future phases of the bike park. The next phases will include beginner, intermediate, and advanced level jump lines.
Note that only US residents can win, but anyone can donate and help spread the stoke.
