The Junior World Cup Downhill field has been thinned out due to injury as we come to the last race of the 2023 season held in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Quebec, Canada. In practice yesterday and today, series winner, Ryan Pinkerton, crashed resulting in broken ribs, Bodhi Kuhn took a big knock to the head in a crash and Taylor Ostgaard dislocated her hip. Paired with Junior injuries sustained in previous rounds, a strategy of just finishing could result in a personal best result this weekend for some. Under very pleasant conditions with autumn leaves falling in MSA, the surviving Juniors made qualifying efforts for tomorrow's race and top positions were separated by fractions of a second.
