Replay and Results: Valparaiso Urban DH 2018

The Chilean World Heritage city of Valparaíso was centre stage for a weekend of thrilling urban downhill racing in what was the 16th edition of Red Bull Valparaíso Cerro Abajo.

Famed for its steep cobbled streets, historic neighbourhoods and colourful clifftop homes, the coastal port saw MTB riders race down a 1.8km course while negotiating tight, testing corners, stairs, man-made obstacles and even jumping through houses in a race against the clock to get down the hill to the finish.

REPLAY

Last year's winner Tomas Slavik was back to defend his title, but will he succeed against a top field of 34 international and South American riders that includes UCI World Cup luminaries Brook Macdonald, Marcelo Gutiérrez, Bernard Kerr, Johannes Fischbach, Bernardo Cruz, Matt Walker and freerider Rémy Métailler?
