Vital MTB is looking for a jack-of-all-trades marketing person for Gear Club, our bi-monthly subscription box. The position is part-time with a flexible schedule. Our preference would be someone who works in our office in Irvine, CA, but we’re open to working remotely with the right person.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and manage ad campaigns on various platforms, including Vital MTB, Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc.
  • Working with our editors, create promotional posts for Vital MTB and our social media channels.
  • Generate and implement new marketing ideas.
  • Marketing reports and analysis.
  • Work with our team to select the product assortment for each Gear Club box. This includes purchasing existing products, as well as developing and sourcing Vital MTB-branded softgoods.
  • Work with our developers to manage the Gear Club website.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the mountain bike market.
  • Experience directly creating and managing both paid and organic social media campaigns.
  • Experience with direct-response marketing.
  • Strong analytical and creative skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and self-directed, but able to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Copywriting, photography, and video skills are a big plus.
